Facing The Music: The story of Marcus Decker

This one-night-only event tells the story of Marcus Decker, the climate defender who climbed the QE2 Bridge to demand our government halt new oil and gas licenses.

With Marcus on guitar, narration by Juliet Stevenson and a band of guest musicians, this show will feature the songs Marcus has written, those written about him and music which has inspired him on his journey.

The journey which took him sailing across the Atlantic; studying singing in Budapest; giving climate talks in Aotearoa New Zealand; losing his father in a tragic accident; meeting his partner Holly and becoming a stepdad and ultimately climbing the Dartford Crossing in 2022 resulting in a 2 year 7 month prison sentence plus a deportation order.

All proceeds go towards the legal fees to fight Marcus's deportation in court.
