Gareth Gates and Michael Courtney star in a 10th anniversary tour of Mad About The Musicals, coming to Stockport Plaza on October 3 and Oldham Coliseum on November 2.
With a host of numbers from the pens of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Kander and Ebb, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Boublil and Schonberg, the cast evoke the spirit of stage musicals.
Gates and Courtney will be joined on stage by musical theatre actresses Rosanne Priest, Kerry O’Dowd and Nichola Lagen.
Gates rose to fame in the inaugural Pop Idol TV show in 2001-2 making it to the final when he went up against Will Young.
Michael Courtney has produced and directed UK tours of several shows and is to direct a new stage comedy in 2015, 69 Shades of Black, starring ex-Steps singer and actress Faye Tozer.
