12 Last Songs, Quarantine’s epic durational show with local workers, comes home to HOME in Manchester September 24.
It’s a 12-hour performance exhibition of people doing their everyday work. The ‘workers’ have diverse jobs, are local to Manchester and are brought together in HOME’s gallery.
600 questions will be asked to the workers over 12 hours, inspiring conversations. A chef, nursery worker or a drone operator might share the space with an astrophysicist, ICU nurse or Uber driver. Audiences come and go as they please.
It’s directed by Quarantine’s artistic director Richard Gregory and premièred at Leeds Playhouse in 2021.
