Anita Dobson and Vinnie Jones are to join the cast of the charity performances of Sondheim's Into the Woods at the Royal Albert Hall on 22nd October.

Held in aid of the Children's Society the show will have two performances, at 3.00 and 7.30pm.

“I am delighted to be part of Into The Woods at the Royal Albert Hall," said Vinnie Jones. "A musical role is a new venture for me and am truly excited that I will be part of two performances which will raise funds for The Children’s Society and all the work they do.”

Former footballer Jones made his first big impression as an actor in the film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and is currently starring in X-Men: The Last Stand.

Bob Reitemeier, Chief Executive at The Children's Society, said, “As The Children's Society celebrates its 125th Anniversary, we are thrilled to be involved in these special staged concert performances of the hit musical Into The Woods. The generously donated proceeds from this event will help us to reach out and support some of the most disadvantaged children in our society today".
