Fifty-One Shades of Maggie

After shows in Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin earlier this year, Fifty-One Shades of Maggie is set to embark on a 27-venue tour of the country, with former Emmerdale star Adele Silva taking the lead role.

Initially written by Leesa Harker as a Facebook-based spoof blog of the best-selling Fifty Shades of Grey, it went viral in a matter of days, and has been adapted for the stage.

It tells the story of the loveable Maggie and her search for love. As she attends an interview at the Social Security office, she meets the handsome and hunky Mr Big, who could just be the man of her dreams.

It tours from September 10 to December 4 with regional dates in:

  • Blackburn King George’s Hall September 24-26
  • Liverpool Epstein Theatre September 27-28
  • Stockport Plaza October 7-9
  • Burnley Mechanics Theatre October 20
  • Buxton Opera House November 3
