Professional, adult panto is to go ahead in Birmingham as the Blue Orange Theatre is to present Blow White, a “laugh-a-minute, cheeky show that’s definitely not for kids or the faint-hearted!”
The creative team behind 2019’s Tinderella, writer Paul Hutton, director James Williams, choreographer CiCi Howells and designer Alex Johnson, will reunite for Blow White: The Adult Pantomime. Casting will be announced soon.
The theatre’s artistic director, James Williams, said, “we know that lots of people are looking forward to another one of our grown-up takes on a classic story, so we’ve introduced a range of safety measures which we trialled during our recent cinema season.
“I’m pleased to say they’ve been well received and, after the events of 2020, this is going to be a brilliant way to get into the festive spirit.”
Only 40% of the usual number of tickets will be available for Blow White: The Adult Pantomime which will run from Wednesday 2 until Saturday 12 December.
