A travelling fun fair features in a North East theatre’s latest production.
Gala Durham’s Alice in Wonderland, from August 1, will bring the classic to life with a daring twist.
The production at the Durham County Council venue brings together all the favourite characters from the original story, but after dark the fair comes alive and Alice is plunged into an adventure in a strange new Wonderland.
The production has been written by Laura Turner, who previously wrote Gala Durham’s Christmas family production in 2021, The Nutcracker Re-Miced.
Alice In Wonderland runs 1 to 12 August. There will be accessible performances including a relaxed performance on August 8 at 2PM and a British Sign Language and captioned performance August 10.
