Adrian Jackson, chief executive and artistic director, welcomes Arthur Bostrom to Lichfield Garrick

Arthur Bostrom is to take the role of Count Dandini de Tartare in Lichfield Garrick’s 2014 panto Cinderella.

Bostrom, who played Officer Crabtree in 74 episodes of the TV sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo!, said, “I'm very excited to be part of the Lichfield Garrick's pantomime this year.

“I saw Snow White and the Magic Mirror last year and was overwhelmed with the quality of the production.

“Lichfield is a beautiful city and has an amazing theatre on its doorstep. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and being part of such a great team.”

Ian Adams will return to the Garrick as Madame Zulieka, Queen of the Gipsies.

Adrian Jackson, the Garrick’s chief executive and artistic director, commented, “Arthur is instantly recognisable and he will be the perfect Count Dandini in our new production of this classic tale.

“Our Christmas productions go from strength to strength each year, with every new production topping the last. This year will certainly be no exception.

“Our audiences will enjoy a bespoke pantomime which is unique to Lichfield.”

Cinderella will run at the Garrick from Thursday 4 December until Sunday 4 January.
