St Helens Theatre Royal announces the return of Coronation Street's Andy McDonald, when Nick Cochrane will join a star-studded cast in their forthcoming Christmas pantomime.
Theatre manager and Cinderella director Chantelle Nolan said: "Nick premiered at St Helens Theatre Royal last year and really went down a storm and was a firm favourite with the audiences. He has a great stage presence and is a pleasure to work with, and I am looking forward to welcoming Nick back this year."
He will be joined on stage by star of Channel 4's Shameless Tina Malone, who will be taking time out from the Chatsworth Estate to play the carriage-crafting Fairy Godmother. Juice FM presenter and actress Leanne Campbell will be stepping into the glass slippers of Cinderella, master of magic and illusion Richard De Vere is Prince Charming's Dandini and panto favourites Si Foster and Marc Lawlor are preparing to swap britches for blouses as the boo-able Ugly Stepsisters, while another Theatre Royal favourite Charlie Griffiths returns to play Baroness Hardup.
