Paper Cinema's Odyssey

Paper Cinema return to Lancaster later this month with its version of The Odyssey at The Nuffield Theatre of the city’s university.

The company has developed a reputation for performing a unique form of live animation to originally scored music.

This time around, The Dukes in Lancaster has teamed up with Live at LICA to present a version of Homer’s cornerstone of literature which has received four-star national reviews.

Nicholas Rawling creates illustrations which are manipulated by puppeteers in front of a live video camera and projected in real-time, to create a fragile and intricate piece of live art.
