The 70th anniversary of the death of poet Dylan Thomas will be marked on Saturday 4 November by a performance in his Swansea home of a song cycle tracing his life.
The programme includes music by Michael Stimpson, performed by baritone Gareth Brynmore and official royal harpist Alis Huws, and spoken excerpts from the poet’s works.
The event will take place at 5 Cwmdonkin Drive, where Thomas was born in 1914 and spent his childhood. It will be live-streamed by World of Sound, and repeat performances are planned a week later in New York, where Dylan died.
