Scrappers

The Everyman and Playhouse in Liverpool continue their commitment to new talent by presenting another debut play in the Playhouse Studio.

Scrappers tells the story of a small group of scrap merchants.

Written by Daniel Matthew and directed by Matthew Xia, the cast features David Judge, John McGrellis, Ged McKenna and Molly Taylor and will be staged in the intimate ‘upstairs’ space from October 24 to November 16.

Set in Fleetwood, it’s an affectionate story of diamonds in the rough.

Daniel developed the play while on the Young Everyman Playhouse Writers Programme and it shone in a rehearsed reading at last year’s Everyword Festival. He is also an alumnus of Liverpool John Moores University’s drama degree.

Age recommendation: 12+.
