The Enormous Turnip from Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company

Southport’s new multi-purpose arts venue, The Atkinson, announces a programme of family friendly fun for spring / summer 2013.

Kicking off the shenanigans on May 18 is Hiccup Theatre’s brand new version of the classic fairytale Rumplestiltskin.

The Krazy Kat Theatre Company brings its sign language art creation The Waving Cat of Japan to the Atkinson on May 24. Next on Wednesday May 29, Topsy Turvy Theatre arrives with Ruby Flew Too, the heartwarming tale of a little duckling struggling to find her feet.

Andy Day and Mike James visit The Atkinson for the first time on June 2 and following smash hit performances of Three Little Pigs, The Elves and the Shoemaker and The Little Red Hen, Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company is bringing its new show The Enormous Turnip for two shows on June 14-15.

The venue has a special dance treat on Saturday June 29 as Turned on its Head presents Shiny, a new dance theatre for children under four and their parents / carers. Details of these and more shows at www.seftonarts.co.uk.
