Autumn Theatre at the Customs House

The Customs House in South Shields has announced its autumn 2012 season. Professional theatrical highlights are:

• New Perspectives Theatre Company with Michael Morpurgo's Farm Boy on 19^th and 20^th September
• Rumpus Theatre Company presenting Wilkie Collins's The Ghost's Touch on 11th October
• On 23^rd and 24^th October Up Down Boy by Myrtle Theatre Company
• Amazing Grace on 29^th and 30^th October
• Blue Boy, a new play by Margaret Wilkinson, produced by the North East Theatre Consortium and Northern Stage, on 5^th and 6^th November

This year's panto, which runs from 29^th November to 6^th January, is Dick Whittington. It stars—as always!—Ray Spencer as Tommy and Bob Stott as Dame Dotty, with Steven Lee Hamilton as Dick, Alice Stokoe as Alice Fitzwarren, Graham Overton as Alderman Fitzwarren and Peter Darrant as King Rat.
