Autumn Theatre at the Customs House

Blue BoyThe Customs House in South Shields has announced its autumn 2012 season. Professional theatrical highlights are:

  • New Perspectives Theatre Company with Michael Morpurgo's Farm Boy on 19th and 20th September
  • Rumpus Theatre Company presenting Wilkie Collins's The Ghost's Touch on 11th October
  • On 23rd and 24th October Up Down Boy by Myrtle Theatre Company
  • Amazing Grace on 29th and 30th October
  • Blue Boy, a new play by Margaret Wilkinson, produced by the North East Theatre Consortium and Northern Stage, on 5th and 6th November

This year's panto, which runs from 29th November to 6th January, is Dick Whittington. It stars—as always!—Ray Spencer as Tommy and Bob Stott as Dame Dotty, with Steven Lee Hamilton as Dick, Alice Stokoe as Alice Fitzwarren, Graham Overton as Alderman Fitzwarren and Peter Darrant as King Rat.
