The Bear

The Bear—a taut, tense and funny show about an everyday murder and a mythic bear—comes to the stage of The Studio at the Royal Exchange in Manchester from April 25-27.

This thriller is based on an original short story by Angela Clerkin and Lee Simpson, that centres on a man on trial for murdering his wife's lover.

Clerkin draws from her parallel existence as a solicitor’s clerk at the Old Bailey to create a rich film noir-inspired whodunit about the transformative power of anger.
