Beauty and the Beast: 100 families will get to see it free

Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre is again asking the people of Coventry and Warwickshire to support families facing financial hardship at Christmas.

After the success of last year’s Give the Gift of Theatre campaign, the Belgrade’s Making Memories initiative and Coventry Foodbank are providing 400 free tickets to the theatre’s panto Beauty and the Beast. The aim is to raise £5,000 so that 100 families can see the panto.

Belgrave executive director Joanna Reid said, “providing free tickets to people who are struggling financially is a great way for us all to let people know that they’re not alone at Christmas.”
