Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre has marked International Women’s Day 2021 by giving a platform to “some of the city’s most inspiring women” who have helped support communities over the past 12 months.

The theatre has produced a video which features 28 women who were asked what they were most grateful for since the start of the pandemic.

The women include the Belgrade’s executive director Joanna Reid, Emma Ormerod, artistic director and chief executive of community theatre company Underground Lights, and Philippa Cross, general manager of site-specific theatre company Talking Birds.

The film is available at the Belgrade Theatre’s YouTube channel.
