Applications are now being taken for Birmingham Fest 2014, an independent performing arts festival designed to celebrate the second city’s arts scene.
The festival was held for the first time in 2013, with dozens of artists and companies presenting more than 50 different shows over a two-and-a-half week period.
Organisers are hoping the 2014 festival will be even bigger and are looking for applications from theatre, dance and children’s companies.
The festival will take place from 11 until 27 July in venues across the city. Further details are available at the Birmingham Fest web site.
