The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford is offering activities for all the family this Easter so that they can find out more about making theatre.

Workshops will include make-up demonstrations to show how wounds are created and a chance to explore the text of Shakespeare’s plays.

Cloud Man, a puppetry storytelling theatre show by Ailie Cohen, is a 45-minute performance that will be presented in the Ferguson Room at the Swan Theatre every day from Monday until Saturday (25 to 30 March).

Blood, Guts and Gore, which demonstrates how to create black eyes, bloody noses and split lips, will be held in the Ferguson Room on Tuesday 2 April and Friday 5 April.

Family workshops on the tragedy Hamlet and Suit the Action to the Word will be held in the Ferguson Room on Wednesday 3 April.

Interactive storytelling sessions for four- to eight-year-olds and their parents will be held in The Story Garden—The Winter’s Tale in the Ruinart Circle Bar of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on Thursday, 4 April.

Visitors to Stratford can experience an alternative view across the town and beyond by taking a trip up the RSC’s tower which is open daily from 10AM until 4PM.
