There’s an autumn tour for Livia Kojo Alour's debut solo show Black Sheep.

Fusing physical theatre, spoken word and song, it’s the story of a queer black woman finding love, overcoming institutional racism and leaning into radical vulnerability while building community around her.

Black Sheep is at Old Fire Station Oxford September 1; Norwich Arts Centre September 3; Northern Stage Newcastle September 20–21; Circus City Festival Bristol October 6–7; Dukes Lancaster November 8; The Albany London November 10; Homotopia Festival Liverpool November 15.

Livia is a poet, vocalist and theatre maker, who in a former life graced stages as a sword swallower, and now speaks out about the challenges and repercussions facing black women who dare to ditch stereotypes.
