Pixie Lott, best known for pop hits "Mama Do" and "All About Tonight", steps into the shoes of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in the stage adaptation of Truman Capote’s classic novella Breakfast at Tiffany’s at The Lowry in Salford from April 12-16.

Set in New York in 1943, Fred, a young writer from Louisiana, meets Holly Golightly, a charming good-time girl. Everyone falls in love with Holly—including Fred, a playboy millionaire and the future president of Brazil.

Pixie Lott said, “this really is the dream role for me to take on for my first play. I feel incredibly lucky. Of course people will make comparisons with Audrey Hepburn, but I would never try to replicate an icon.

"I hope audiences feel I bring my own interpretation and personality to the role. My Holly is free-spirited and has lots of energy, and we also see glimpses of the secrets of her past.”
