The Climbers cast at Theatre By The Lake in Keswick may be immersed in rehearsals but they managed to fit in a climb up Catbells to get in character.
Director Guy Jones felt it important to help capture the spirit of this world première, which runs from June 17 to July 16.
It’s an exploration of the lure of the mountains, the drive to conquer and the price of staying alive.
