The first Manchester Burlesque Festival will run three days and four nights celebrating vintage glamour and old-fashioned debauchery.

The event features workshops, socials and headline shows held at venues across the city, running from October 31 to November 3.

The festival will feature a headline show every evening starting with a Halloween-themed opening night. The Slippery Belle, the longest running burlesque show in Manchester, will also feature on November 1, starring international artists as well as local legends Albah Bernaux, Coco Deville, Cleopantha and Eva Fox.

Saturday 2 November will see the grand finale of Ecdysiast Encounters, a competition for new burlesque talent, where 11 performers chosen from three qualifying heats in Manchester, Leeds and York will compete for the title chosen by a combination of audience votes and guest judges.
