Organisers of the 2020 Buxton Fringe have announced a competition to create the programme cover which is open to everyone.
The contest, won by Catherine Webb in 2019 for her design called Roar Talent, is open to amateur and professional artists of all ages. The winner will receive a £100 prize and the winning design will be featured on tens of thousands of Fringe programmes.
Entrants can choose the subject matter, although the organisers advise that “the more imaginative the better”.
Acting Fringe chair Stephen Walker said, “Fringe is all about creativity and new ideas, and in Buxton that starts with our programme cover. We're excited to see what the talented artists in Buxton and beyond can come up with for our 2020 programme.”
Full details are available at the Buxton Fringe web site. Closing date for entries is Friday 1 November.
