Jennifer Campbell: one of the cast of Life’s Witness

From the Mill Theatre Company from Manchester is taking a play to Buxton Fringe for the first time.

Life’s Witness involves a live televised interview with author Nathan Valentine. He is forced to face serious allegations about his latest novel and, as more pressure is applied, secrets start to spill into the studio. Nathan faces a battle to keep his secrets hidden.

From the Mill, which “creates fresh, dynamic theatre, fun to watch and to be involved in”, aims to work with up-and-coming talent.

Jennifer Campbell, actor and company director, is in the cast along with Sean Chriscole, Dean Brammall and Thomas Hodson. She said, “Life’s Witness invites audiences to be part one of the most intense interviews in literary history.”

Life’s Witness will be performed in Buxton United Reformed Church on Sunday 12, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July at 2PM, and Tuesday 14, Wednesday 15 and Tuesday 21 July at 8PM.
