Even Santa's been suffering this year.

After self-isolating at the North Pole (Mrs Claus was visiting her sister in Northumberland and she’s not been able to get back yet) and having to furlough all but one of his elves, poor Santa is afraid Christmas cheer has all but disappeared and that no-one will be celebrating.

He’s lost hope, he’s lost faith, he’s even lost his reading glasses... but, most importantly, he’s lost his Christmas spirit!

Can Bubblegum, the odd little elf with a big heart, help Santa find his fuzzy Yuletide glow once more and remind him of the true meaning of Christmas? Or will 2020 be the year with no festive cheer?

The answer will be found in this new show from Northumberland Theatre Company, The Elf Who Saved Santa, which welcomes back Eilish Stout-Cairns (The Snow Queen) and NTC Touring veteran Nigel Collins (Straw Headed Peter, Little Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin, Beauty and the Beast).

And it's available to watch now on NTC's Facebook page where you will find a 'donate' link. Just make a donation to the company. How much is up to you—after all, it's been a strange year so whatever you can give will be gratefully received.

Once you've done that, send them a message using FB messenger saying that you've donated and then on 19 December you will be sent a password and a link to access the show online.

The donate link will stay open up until 30 December so you can donate right up until then, and your password will give you unlimited access to the show until 1 January.
