Ryan Heenan will take the role of Joe Spud in a musical adaptation of David Walliams’s Billionaire Boy, written by Jon Brittain with music by Miranda Cooper and Nick Coler.
A co-production between Nuffield Southampton Theatres and Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre, Billionaire Boy also features Dean Nolan as Joe’s billionaire father Len and Avita Jay as his girlfriend Sapphire.
The cast includes Lem Knights, Sophia Nomvete, Jared Leathwood, Natalie Morgan and Eleanor Kane. Alex “Teddy” Clements is musical director while newcomer Daisy Noir is the drummer and part of the ensemble.
Luke Shepard directs Billionaire Boy the Musical which runs at Nuffield Southampton Theatres from 20 November until 6 January 2019. It tours to The Lowry, Salford from 14 until 17 February, Coventry Belgrade from 20 until 23 February and New Theatre Cardiff from 26 February until 2 March.
