Bayo Gbadamosi takes on the role of Brick, with Ntombizodwa Ndlovu, a Zimbabwean-British actress, singer and graduate from the Manchester School of Theatre, as Maggie ‘the cat’ joined by Patrick Robinson as Big Daddy and Jacqui Dubois as Big Mama.
It’s Big Daddy’s birthday and the family are home. He’s dying, and so begins a battle for succession. Dripping in flattery, Gooper and his wife Mae are poised to win—but Maggie is ready to pounce. She fights like a cat on a hot tin roof while her husband sinks to the bottom of a bottle.
