Mark Ashmore, creative head of Future Artists at The Black Lion in Salford, is handing the day-to-day running of the venue space to a new company, Chapel Street Studios.
After 18 months in the job, the venue is now in the hands of JT—who has been his events co-ordinator for the past eight months, and is running the space as her own start-up enterprise.
Mark will now be based at the Manchester Film studio, the Sharp Project, overseeing two feature films and the behind the scenes for Channel 4 / Endemol's summer four-part drama The Mill.
