Edward Seckerson, formerly the presenter of BBC Radio 3's long-running musical theatre show Stage and Screen, is to host a series of interviews with stars of musical theatre at London's Charing Cross Theatre under the title Singular Sensations.
Through a mix of chat, recordings, and live performance, Seckerson will trace each artists career and examine his or her working process. This will become a regular Sunday afternoon fixture for musical theatre enthusiasts.
The autumn and winter season will feature the following artists:
- 15th Deptember 2013 - Kerry Ellis
- 6th October 2013 - Howard Goodall
- 10th November 2013 - Janie Dee
- 8th December 2013 - John Wilson
- 19th January 2014 - Patricia Routledge
- 26th January 2014 - Jenna Russell
Kerry Ellis, Howard Goodall, Janie Dee and Jenna Russell will all perform live. John Wilson and Patricia Routledge will share favourite or treasured recordings.
