Cheryl Fergison, who until last year played Heather Trott in EastEnders, is the latest name to be signed up for Derby LIVE’s panto Jack and the Beanstalk.
As well as appearing in Albert Square, she has graced the small screen on Let’s Dance for Sport Relief, Strictly Come Dancing—It Takes Two, Come Dine with Me, Loose Women and Celebrity Big Brother.
For the next six weeks she will be entertaining Saturday night audiences on ITV’s new series Your Face Sounds Familiar, a show with a twist in which stars are challenged to perform as different musical artists.
Cheryl Fergison will play Spirit of the Beans in Jack and the Beanstalk alongside dame Don Maclean, comic Mike McClean and former X-Factor finalist Marcus Collins.
Jack and the Beanstalk runs at Derby's Assembly Rooms from Wednesday 4 December until Sunday 5 January.
