Chichester Festival Theatre is throwing open the doors of its newly restored Grade 2 listed building to offer a peek behind the scenes.
On the open day on Sunday 7 November, there will be a chance to explore the Festival Theatre and find out more about what is involved in creating productions.
There will be opportunities to try out a range of activities including stage fighting and street theatre, performing on stage in singing workshops and a concrete-making workshop, plus there will be a set and costume design exhibition with professional designers on site throughout the day and CFT's make-up team will show how to create realistic stage wounds.
There will be information about the theatre's architecture, an Amadeus touch tour, a chance to see the dressing rooms and visits backstage for a close-up look at the Guys and Dolls set.
The free event runs from 11AM to 4PM and there is no need to book in advance.
