Children beat a Drum to Birmingham summer school

Birmingham's The Drum

Birmingham venue The Drum—“the UK's premier intercultural arts centre”—is holding a summer school for children aged 8 to 19.

The aim is to “attract, inspire, nurture, hone and progress the now generation of young creative talent”.

Youngsters can take part in drama, dance, visual arts and spoken word activities from 10AM until 3PM every day.

The Drum children and young people’s summer school will be held from Monday until Friday, 4 until 8 August and also 11 until 15 August. Tickets cost £30 per week and the Drum is offering a 50% reduction for families with more than one sibling.
