White Christmas

There will be open auditions for the role of Susan in the festiva production of White Christmas at The Lowry in Salford later this month.

The production runs from 30 November 2012 to 5 January 2013 and stars Steven Houghton, Ken Kercheval, Wendi Peters and Claire Sweeney. Three girls will be required to alternate the part of the General's granddaughter.

The girls must be aged 8 to 12 years and strictly no taller than 5 feet tall with no fixed braces. They must be undeveloped with an excellent belt voice and be able to move well and speak in an American accent.

The auditions will be at The Lowry on Saturday 22 September. Children will be required to sing and should wear confortable clothing and bring a passport-sized photograph, but there is no need to prepare anything in advance.

Children should arrive by 9:30AM and will be seen strictly in the order in which they arrive. Only a limited number of children can be seen as auditions must finish by 3PM.
