Chorus lines up for Buxton panto

Producers of the Buxton Opera House panto will be looking for dance stars of the future when they hold chorus auditions for Cinderella.

Sally Brooks, who has worked on a number of London musicals, will be the choreographer.

The auditions, which will be held at the Pavilion Arts Centre in Buxton between 3 and 6PM on Sunday 9 June are open to 9- to 15-year-old dancers with excellent technical ability who are over 4' 8" tall.

Applicants must be available over the weekend of 18 to 20 October and should be prepared to take part in intensive rehearsals between 18 November and 12 December.

The chorus will be split into two teams who will share performances until the show closes.

Cinderella will run from 12 December until 1 January.
