Glenn Close will make her West End debut with a reprisal of her Tony Award-winning role of Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard in a semi-staged production for English National Opera in partnership with the GradeLinnet Company.
Based on the Billy Wilder film, Sunset Boulevard has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton. It premièred at London's Adelphi Theatre in 1993 before opening on Broadway the following year.
Lonny Price will direct for ENO for a limited run at London Coliseum from 1 April to 7 May 2016 with the full ENO orchestra.
Tickets will go on public sale at 10AM on Tuesday 29 September 2015.
