Money The Game Show

Manchester theatregoers will be confronted with £10,000 in real pound coins on stage as part of Money The Game Show—a new show about the madness of the financial system—which comes to The Studio at the Royal Exchange Theatre from May 15-17 as part of a national tour.

With a security guard on stage and CCTV running at all times, game show hosts Casino and Queenie will challenge the audience to play a series of high stake games that show how the world’s economic system came to the brink of collapse.

Presented by Leeds-based Unlimited Theatre and London’s Bush Theatre, the show takes a look at the roots of the 2008 financial crisis and its ongoing impact in 2014.
