Drama students from the University of Cumbria have the key to The Dukes door in January.

The university—formerly St Martin’s College—celebrates 21 years of presenting plays at the Lancaster theatre. And this year’s drama double bill by third year students is Hedda from January 13-16 and Mammals from January 20-23.

Hedda, age guidance 8 plus, is Lucy Kirkwood’s re-imagining of Ibsen’s 19th century masterpiece, relocated to present-day London.

First staged at the Bush Theatre in 2005, the award-winning Mammals is a comic portrait of the breeding generation and for anyone who is in, has ever been in, or will ever be in a family. Age guidance 12 plus.
