Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre's new season (February and March) of drama and family shows has been announced.

On 11 February at 11AM and 1:30PM M6 Theatre Company presents a show for the over-5s, Tadpoles, a play about rivalry, strengths, weaknesses, superheroes—and a tadpole-catching competition.

On the following Sunday (14 February) at 2PM, it’s the turn of Honalee Media’s Pongo’s Party, aimed at age 3-7. It’s Pongo the Pig’s birthday, but no one seems to have remembered!

From 23 to 26 February (various times) it’s a show for teenagers (14+), Zest Theatre’s Gatecrash in which the audience gatecrashes the party Sam’s having when his parents are away. This is an interactive, immersive show featuring “silent disco” technology and this will be its only North East date. It does involve some strong language.

Blunderbuss Theatre Company comes to Hartlepool at 1PM on 3 March with The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (for age 3-7), a story about young Charlie who wants to be a world-class magician.

On 4 March, for audiences of 14+, Analogue presents Stowaway: a Boeing 777 descends towards Heathrow and the landing gear unfolds. The frozen body of a stowaway falls out and lands in the car park of B&Q, right in front of Andy.
