The following North East theatres have announced today that they will be closing indefinitely because of the coronavirus:
- Newcastle Theatre Royal
- Sunderland Empire
- The Customs House, South Shields
- ARC Stockton
- Darlington Hippodrome
- The Hullabaloo, Darlington
Others will be deciding whether or not to close in the next 24 hours. The BTG will keep you updated as we hear of further closures.
