A Christmas Carol: children and chorus members are needed to tread the boards

Tread the Boards Theatre Company is looking for Tiny Tim and his siblings for a new production of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol in Coventry.

Auditions are open to anyone aged between 5 and 18 for the roles of the Cratchit children in the production which will be staged at the Albany Theatre, Coventry.

Catherine Prout of Tread the Boards said, ”anyone with or without experience can come along to audition on Saturday 24 September. The audition workshops are packed with activities, so all you need to do is wear comfortable clothes and be ready for some drama and fun.”

The company is also looking for chorus members from the community to appear alongside the BBC’s Trish Adudu who will play The Ghost of Christmas Present. Anyone who would like to apply for an audition should e-mail [email protected].

Performances of A Christmas Carol, the first co-production between Stratford-based Tread the Boards and the Albany Theatre, run from Monday 12 December until Monday 2 January 2017.
