It follows the Dalton family’s descent into poverty after dad Paul, suffers an accident at work. The play will première at Bradford Playhouse Studio April 14 and Theatre Royal Wakefield the following day.

The play is directed by Heather Carroll and written by Dan Lovatt. It will be produced by Divided Culture Co., Lovatt’s Manchester-based theatre and film production company that he co-owns with artistic director Connor Goodwin.

They are partnering with Bradford Central Food Bank and St Catherine’s Food Pantry for both shows to signpost their vital services. The show in Wakefield will be BSL interpreted and audiences with visual impairments are able to have a touch tour prior to the performance.
