Dan Osborne, who appeared on the television series The Only Way Is Essex, will play Genie in Aladdin at the new Derby Arena at Christmas 2015.
Osborne, a former professional model, joined the ITV show TOWIE for series eight. He made his first foray into panto in 2014 playing Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk in Liverpool.
He said, “I’ve heard great things about Derby audiences and can’t wait to bring fun and energy to the role this Christmas.”
As previously announced, Atomic Kitten’ Natasha Hamilton and 5ive’s Ritchie Neville have joined the cast along with Mike “Squeaky” McClean, Richard David-Caine and Joseph Elliott.
Aladdin will be a Derby LIVE presentation at Derby Arena from Monday 7 December until Sunday 3 January 2016.
