Smack That (a conversation) is a new show from choreographer and theatremaker Rhiannon Faith.

It shines a light on domestic abuse featuring an all female cast of seven, a close-knit group made up of both non-performers and experienced dance artists. They all have their own personal experience of abuse and as each one fearlessly becomes Beverly they convey real life experiences.

Smack That (a conversation) opens a short UK tour at Square Chapel Arts Centre Halifax on May 31 before heading for a five-day run at London’s Barbican Centre. The tour will also visit Cast Doncaster on July 6.

Age 16+. The show raises themes of an adult nature, sexual violence and domestic abuse. Runs 80 minutes (no interval).
