Young people from across the county and beyond will be dancing in the streets of Lancaster during Lancashire Youth Dance Festival from May 15-16.
The Dukes and Ludus Dance have joined forces again for the seventh annual showcase at the city centre theatre.
Each of the participating dance groups has been selected to take part on the basis of their enthusiasm for exploring new dance styles, creating innovative choreography and daring to try something different.
To whet appetites for this feast of fancy footwork, from May 11-14 professional dancers will be surprising shoppers with mini performances at various locations across the city centre.
