Dancing brothers A J and Curtis Pritchard will lead the line-up of Cinderella, the 2022 panto at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall.
A J is a professional dancer on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing while Curtis is a former professional on Ireland’s Dancing with the Stars. The pair appeared in panto together for the first time in 2021.
A J said, “we loved doing pantomime together last year so couldn’t be happier to be reprising our roles as Prince Charming and Dandini in Leicester.” Curtis added, “panto is the best way to bring families together for a brilliant evening of fun, laughs and magic. This year it’s going to be bigger and better than ever, and we can’t wait to see you all there.”
Evie Pickerill will play Cinderella. She is best known for her appearances in the CBeebies House and in CBeebies Presents productions. This will be her second year with producers Imagine Theatre. She said, “I’m so excited to be working with Imagine again. After a wonderful time as Cinderella last year, I’m very excited to be attending the ball once again in Leicester.”
Comedian and actor Jarred Christmas will play Buttons and Martin Ballard will play Dame Penny in his 11th panto at De Montfort Hall.
Cinderella will run from Saturday 10 December until Monday 2 January 2023.
