Dave Benson Phillips is to return to Mansfield Palace Theatre after an absence of six years to play Buttons in Cinderella.
He said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be back in Mansfield again this Christmas. It’s going to be a seriously good show this year!”
Benson Phillips has presented numerous children’s television programmes as well as performing in pantos up and down the country.
Mansfield’s cultural services manager Andrew Tucker said, “We really do have a superb cast this year.
“We know that Ruth Madoc (Fairy Godmother) will be adored by all the Hi-De-Hi fans out there and Dave Benson Philips has his own family following.
“Our audiences will remember what fun we had with Dave in Cinderella in 2007 when we had one of our highest-attended pantos.”
Cinderella will run from Saturday 30 November until Sunday 5 January.
