Dead Cats, the latest instalment in Proto-type Theatre’s Truth to Power project, premièred at Köln’s Theatreszene Europa Festival late last year and will be performed at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre May 10–11 as part of a UK tour.
The show was previously seen in the city in November.
In this new show, two characters are in the kind of room where they use phrases like collateral damage, extraordinary rendition and perception management. They cover up their dirty words with clean ones.
This is political theatre that strikes a particular chord in a time of muddled politicians.
