Asa Murphy as Buddy

Entertainer Asa Murphy brings Blackpool audiences two shows in one weekend.

The writer, singer and musician will bring the live productions to North Pier’s Joe Longthorne Theatre on the weekend of July 1–2.

It starts on Saturday with Irish Annie’s—a celebration of Irish culture, from music to comedy featuring live six-piece band The Shenanigans.

And it continues on Sunday with Buddy Holly Lives—The Music Never Died, a celebration which charts the 70th anniversary of his legendary music.

Irish Annie’s also stars Ricky Tomlinson—himself a keen banjo and harmonica player—as Scouse Pete.
