Derby LIVE and Paul Holman Associates are holding in September their annual dance auditions for this year’s panto, Jack and the Beanstalk.
The producers will be looking for girls aged between eight and 11 who are no taller than 4ft 11ins.
Those interested must be at least the equivalent standard of ISTD grade one in ballet, tap and modern and should have strong performance skills.
Girls attending auditions must be accompanied and have a valid signed parental permission form.
Successful children must be available for all rehearsals and performances and must live within a maximum of 30 minutes’ travelling distance of Derby’s Assembly Rooms.
Rehearsals will be held from Saturday 23 November until the panto opens on Wednesday 4 December. It runs until Sunday 5 January.
